In July 2020, Peter Rothenbücher’s sons – Axel and Christian Rothenbücher – took over Carolinenruhe Castle in Colmdorf from the Popp family. In July 2020, the family decided to begin restoration work on the castle building and renovate the roof.
The first exclusive hotel rooms Wilhelmine and “Reitzenstein” were completed in August 2024.
